Story behind the song
One of several political ads I spoofed which existed on air during the 1992 campaign season. This one spoofed an ad featuring UT Senator Jake Garn that was running in local media. I wrote the script, the original background music, hired a Russian girl to be Tatiana and my uncle Jon S. did the voice of "Drake Farns" endorsing T.Ray . . . . It was a hoot to hear this ad run right after the actual Jake Garn ad where he was supporting some candidate... maybe Bob Bennett .... A talk show host liked my stuff and put my "ads" into regular rotation, just for kicks ....
