Story behind the song
Sleeping Angel holds a really special place for me. Written March 14 1988 in the middle of the night, I was looking at the angel sleeping in the bed that happened to be a few days pregnant with our daughter although neither of us knew at the time. December 10 1988, our daughter then arrived in the world and I used to play this for her (as well as Hymn for Integrity) to soothe her and make her sleep. Little has been changed with this work, except it has become much nicer sounding overall. When experiencing stress, this track may help reduce it.
