Fighting hard, I’m trying not to sink. But everything is closing in on me. The fight to be perfect, the fight to succeed. This time’s running out and my work must complete. Tell me the reason this means so much to me. My life’s passing by but i’m in the passenger seat. These accomplishments fade and turn into dust. I’ve got to take control. I fear that I must. Take control again, take this to the end. Live life for myself, off autopilot. I’m racing through the fire, my tires they burn. I’m chasing this time but from the clock I will learn. That the moment you stop is the moment you live. So take some time out and get some perspective. Everything is passing by. Don’t you see it’s so insane. You will never live to see this day again. Everyone is telling you. You may not see until you die. You never took the time to go off autopilot. And so we are here again. Another rat race will begin. Another chance to fight for the prize. A shame it’s not eternal life. And so I keep on running, what else can I do. I never stopped to take a look at the view. This beautiful creation is passing me by. What can I say that I have done with my life? So take in the Sun before it sets on your last day. See the colors on the lake before it all fades to grey. All the pressure of the world will leave you feeling out of touch. But watch the planet spring to life and you will feel a massive rush.
