Story behind the song
song was created from Automata's 'Drumtest' mp3.
he post A & B versions and asked if anyone could hear the difference in quality.
I think I picked B and I think that's the version I used to created the full music track.
The bridge section near the end was created by copying and pasting together slices of the original mp3.
I just really loved the groove, so I contacted him and & got his OK to work with it.
He seemed to like what I did, but was unhappy with the overall recording quality.
He got very busy & I lost contact with him, so I was never really comfortable showing to anyone else.
I pulled the raw WAV files from my previous music drive and did a new mix in Reaper.
I added in the stops to give it more dynamics.
I think this version is much cleaner overall.
I have no idea if it now would meet with Automata's approval, but I have given up on trying to contact him.
