Da Commission The hip hop duo called Da Commission aka D.C. are composed of Mihovil and Domagoj Gaspic. The twin brothers were born and raised in Kuwait where the most spoken language was english which explains why they rap in english. They moved back to Croatia to graduate high school where they began to take their talent and business savvy more serious and took it to the next level. They worked the underground circuit in Zagreb in their teens and took part in many battles and events. DC have put out numerous demos over the years and are also the leaders of the Balkan Inc. movement which is soon to be the first successful independent record label in the region. The group believe that their music and the records they plan to release in the near future will bridge the cultural gaps in the neighboring nations of the former Yugoslav Republic. The two faced alot of problems in the region when promoting their music because most of the labels and industry people said it is impossible to put on an artist rapping in english. They are collaborating with the top urban artists from within the region and because they rap in english they can bring their message to a larger audience. They believe that a byproduct of their success can mean a more active and lucrative industry for all artists in the region.
