CEDAR FEVER is located near beautiful Canyon Lake, Texas...where people come to have fun...float down the Guadalupe River or visit Gruene Hall, the oldest dance hall in Texas. My name is Ronald Earle Boutelle and my wife tells me that I'm the leader of my one-man band, Cedar Fever. Although I have always had one guitar or another, writing and building furniture have been the things I've spent most of my time doing. Back in the mid 90s I got my first computer. This improved my writing enormously and eventually led to a whole new oportunity...my own little home-recording studio. Although very slow going at first due to the steep learning curve and lack of clear guidance; with the decision to buy n-track and just hammering away at it every day for over a year, I have been able to use my studio to acheive things musically that years ago would have been impossible.

Story behind the song
After watching a special on Fox News about Shkin-Camp and our young American soldiers fighting there, I wanted to come up with something that captured the gripping story I had seen. So the song is about war. When I listen to it the sounds take me there...inside a tank...my head bobbing...wrapped in a helmet. My eyes are scanning back and forth...looking for the Taliban. Now and then you will hear this litte rock weasel...also watching and listening...and warning. Sales from this cd will be used to send free copies of this album to our soldiers at Shkin-Camp.
