Ten-minute orchestral tone poem in late romantic style. Yes I know, I need to get a new orchestra. That is on the list.

This is a one-man studio-based outfit which has two streams. One is to produce songs, with vocals, in a fairly conventional format, that you might expect a "real" band to play. The other is to produce instrumentals with experimental electronic sounds, the stranger the better, but hopefully still appealing. I love that virtual world full of beauty and weirdness. Perhaps that's where I'll go when I die.

Story behind the song
I wanted to write a heroic style orchestral piece along the lines of Elgar, or John Williams film music. As usual it didn't turn out as planned. As well as Elgar I can discern influences of Honneger and Prokofiev among others. Perhaps you could imagine Mickey, Donald, Goofy etc achieving emancipation form their created paradise - a sort of parody of the flight out of Eden. There is a distinctly cartoon feel about a lot of it, heroism in miniature.
