Story behind the song
The lyrics to this song were so controversial, it broke up the band. Parker was adamant about not using the words, because he insisted that he would not be able to play the song for his mother. Bishopp was under the crazed delusion that angry mothers would show up at our door and beat his ass. I'm not sure if he was opposed to that, but he was certain it would happen. The latest controversy surrounding this song involves the LA Times. I submitted an ad for this website to the recycler(which is a division of the times) and it was refused because of the song title; "sex with yer mom". Some guy there told me(after being on hold for several minutes), that "sex with yer mom" was "not in good taste". When I asked him to name a mom who never had sex, he could not. He told me if I removed the phrase; "sex with yer mom" they would accept the ad. I guess the LA Times doesn't approve of moms having sex, but they are comfortable with a "micro penis"...
