In my 20's I met a girl (whom I liked MUCH more than she liked ME). One day I bought her some small gift and drove over to the apartment she shared with her mother to give it to her. To my utter surprise, it was EMPTY! (And I'm talking furniture gone, and no curtains in the WINDOWS empty!) She MOVED, without saying a thing. To this day I have NO idea what happend or why. Thirty years later (though happily married to my lovely wife for the past 20), I still sometimes wonder...
