We started out in Medieval England and slowly evolved into a lean mean music making machine
Merlin and the Gnometones were a garageband from the sixties. They toured the US playing for small audiences, living day to day. They recorded over 70 songs using what ever equipment they could borrow. Recently, a tape was discovered with 30 of their original recordings. (Ironically in a garage sale) They have been digitally remastered and posted here for your enjoyment. Seriously, I am a non-performing songwriter just trying to get his music out to people who may enjoy it. Most of it falls into the classic rock genre, but there is a little bit of everything here. Thanks to anyone who takes the time to listen.

Lyrics
UNWELCOME VISITORS A man came to my window Begging for some food Said he couldn't have any Why don't you try next door? A man came to my door To sell me a brush Said I didn't want any Why don't you try next door? Unwelcome visitors Come here every day I send them next door I send them away. A man came to my house Looking for his dog Said I haven't seen any Why don't you try next door? A man came through my window Searching for some jewels Said I haven't got any Why don't you try next door? Unwelcome visitors Come here every day I send them next door I send them away. A man came to my door Looking for some peace Said he wouldn't find any Why don't you try next door? He said I am from next door There's people lined up in my yard I had to get out of there So I came next door. Unwelcome visitors Come here every day I send them next door I send them away. Unwelcome visitors I send them away.
