Hello again, Death, how do you do? It's Winter again, and for most of us in the US, this one's an unkind master. It knocks on every windowpane, but it ain't nobody's friend. This is the newest mix done on January 8th, 2009. All tracks me.

VERSE 1: I always think of you this kind of weather This sad and beautiful cascade Where Oak and Maple leaf lie down together To a sleepy serenade The wind it plays like ita019s some kind of spirit That only lives for movina019 on You can try but you will never see it, Not until ita019s gone CHORUS VERSE 2: Ia019ve seen your card before, youa019re a ringer Everybody in the room falls hush Show stopper, man, youa019re no beginner You always bring that rush Wea019re just flesh and bone, now I regret it We need a fire on this ice You name the terms old man, cash or credit Whatever gets us through these nights CHORUS INSTRUMENTAL VERSE CHORUS VERSE 3: I always think of you this kind of weather This quiet white out escalade Where all those crystals just pile up together In a silent serenade You take over now, there, now Ia019ve had it I just need a chance to rest And dream a while of where wea019re headed Ia019m thinkina019 South, and West CHORUS VERSE 4: I loved to tease you back when times were heady Now you can finish what I start So I keep my distance just in case youa019re ready To make me play that part You are the only one, there, I said it Who casts a shadow on my heart Youa019ve been with me all the time, I dona019t forget it Even when wea019re apart CHORUS

Hank, this is awesome! Wonderful production, smooth jazzy lazy mood here! Great winter lyrics (MAN IT IS COLD HERE THIS YEAR, TOO!!!!!) Great singing goes with the lyrics. Recording, especially of vocals and guitars is just WOW! Pro all the way. And yes, I like it the way it is, too (without chorus) Nice harp solo, good idea to bring in another instrument. Love it! Congrats from Frankfurt
