Little bit of reflecting on the musical eras of my time. Graham.

Strictly a demos only performer <br />Jam at live gigs sometimes and have a whole lotta fun doing it
I am writer, and general Mister Nice Guy. I am not a performer but manage to squeak out stuff good enough for others to hear and do better with. Lucky for you lot. I get a few other people to sing and play some of my stuff. I do make Karaoke tracks of my songs and perform them every Saturday night, trotting twix the two local pubs that do karaoke. I have a whole heap more fun than doing covers all the time. Most weeks having at least one new song to try out on the punters. Have seven recorded and getting airplay. And not only on my show Roar Radio either. Backing music for Born To Be Blue is now on a video showing the Esperance service providers. Out soon. More later.

Lyrics
Still The Blues © Copyright APRA Graham Henderson 2004 I grew up on Hank Williams. Jimmy Rodgers, Nat King Cole. And while my ears were learning. They invented rock and roll. Somewhere in the middle. Les Paul and Mary Ford. Came along with. A new way to record. I lived through the hippie years. When folk was all the go I thought the blues had died. It was only resting though. BB King, Joseph Cotten And other true blues men. Woke it from it’s slumber. And brought it back again. Chorus Today it’s still the blues Like it has been all along. My voice may say I’m country. But God just got it wrong. Hound Dog Taylor had a phrase, I’m going to re-use. Said the fast stuff’s Rock and Roll, and the slow stuff’s still the blues. Instrumental 8 I’m glad, I Iived in a time. When music didn’t seem to want, to make up it’s mind. And I could simply pick and choose. And I’m glad I decided to pick the blues. ‘Cos the blues is everywhere. And though it’s changed along the way. It’s still the blues. And still makes my day. Chorus Today it’s still the blues Like it has been all along. My voice may say I’m country. But God just got it wrong. Hound Dog Taylor had a phrase, I’m going to re-use. Said the fast stuff’s Rock and Roll, and the slow stuff’s still the blues.
