This was the best song to record. After we laid down the first take everyone in the band ran into the control room to take a listen. It was great. Leaving Nashville we had the instrumental version jammed into the CD player. We were all crushed.

Story behind the song
This is just a song about missing my kids when I had to travel. I would hang out in some pretty exotic places, but I always thought about my two kids. I thought it was so ironic that paradise all around me and it was nothing without them. Well actually it wasn't that bad. It's all a matter of perspective.
