A little bit of everything
Tigerfolly is Chris Gardner, an alarmingly useless multi-instrumentalist. Starting out on bass, he branched out to drums, guitar, guitar-synth, and keyboard, and occasionally attempts to sing.

Story behind the song
I wrote the rhythm guitar riff early one morning at my friend Doug's place, trying to keep him awake. The song came together really quickly, it's just a couple simple riffs, and I recorded them on a little Yamaha four track I had. Originally, I did one rhythm guitar track, and was going to have my friend Jeff play a lead for me. But as time passed, and as I waited and waited, I finally decided to do my own. I decided that I wanted it to seem like they were trading off live, so each guitar has it's own specific tone (tight and dry, round and effected), and each guitar switched back to rhythm after they solo. It wasn't easy, and switching off the delay caused a little audio stutter that you can especially hear on the last break. All in all, I'm proud of it, since was recorded about six months after I started playing lead.
