Hi there - We are BATS FROM THE WOOD, and if you've ever been to the Alternative section here on SoundClick you will probably say: "Hey, you have almost exactly the same bandname as those other guys, what'sitcalled.. ah yes BATS IN THE HEAD." And we would be forced to admit "..uh that's because we're almost exactly the same band." "How's that?" Well, one evening the three of us (Johann von Ciriacywantrup, Kirstin Target and Walter Greimers) were working on new songs and suddenly the idea emerged that our rock songs would sound pretty good with just two acoustic guitars and a voice. And yes, they did. So we decided to give it a name but still "keep it in the family". And thus it is, that we are two bands. Both actively working, playing and recording.
