After leaving Carotid I was inspired beyond belief to work hard at putting together my own band but I didn't want to be Chris Fewell or The Great Awakening anymore, I discovered this word "candela" which means "a unit of luminous intensity", decided to add an L, and wrote a song to be the band's theme.
