Aggression and logic. For more than a year, Cherry Lane was a rock and roll force to be reckoned with. Formed from the ashes of the rock groups 21 Union Square and Girl Named Megan, Cherry Lane pushed the art of forceful music; their words rallied for strength in difficulty. Cherry Lane's former members have moved on with their lives. Mike is married and has been attending college. Jeff plays in Computer Science now and again. Jared now runs Thinker Thought Records and tours with Scouts Honor and The Forecast. Cherry Lane's live show was definitely one to see and hear. We pray that you did not miss your chance do so.

Story behind the song
This song is about giving up the day job to do things you love more.
Lyrics
With the longer days came the harsh realization of two years lost, tossed aside and wasted so some rich man could count his weekly earnings and write me off. I was meekly serving a purpose that I didn’t believe in. So what? Do you want me to breath and bleed this shit?! Well, I’ve got something to say, "Man wasn’t meant to live this way, indentured servants to other people’s purposes." I’ve had enough (I’ve had enough). I’m filling past the red line. I’ve had enough (I’ve had enough) and soon you’ll hear me screaming, “It’s not all I have. It’s all I care to give. When these feet walk out that door, then you’ll have seen the last of me.”
