Mage is an up and coming hip-hop artist and producer. Influences: The Roots, Mos Def, Blackalicious
Mage is and up and coming hip-hop artist and producer from Orange County, Ca. He is the former frontman of the band "Drop Logic" who released their debut album "Fear & Sunlight" in early 2002. Due to creative differences, Mage left the group in September 2002 to pursue his solo career. Influenced by artists like The Roots, De La Soul, Tribe, Blackalicious, and Mos Def, Mage is determined to set a new standard in hip-hop music. A student of music for over ten years, Mage pushes the envelope with his unorthodox lyrics and delivery, and makes no apologies for it. Keep your ears and eyes open for this new talent of hip-hop. 2003 will be the year of the Mage.

Tie between Mos Def and Black Thought from The Roots.
Pink Floyd, easily. Everything else is second to Floyd. I can go for long periods of time without listening to them, but they'll always be number one to me. Floyd made me want to write music.

Hmm . . . I'm not sure about the worst, but I can't stand Ja Rule, Nelly, and 50 cent. I don't know what people see in these rappers? There are a lot of better rappers out there. You just gotta go a little further than the radio. Don't sleep!
