Bands start for many reasons: girls, drugs, free booze. Subjective Well Being merely wanted Pop Tarts.
Hi. We were Subjective Well Being, a three piece rock band from Hot Springs Village, AR. Even though we are no longer active, we are leaving this page up so that if anyone ever come across these tunes, they can still take a listen. We still check back here every once and awhile, so leave us a comment or a note and tell us what you think. Thanks for ten years of rock and roll!

Story behind the song
So why a bonus track? Well, because Russ would probably argue my inclusion of this song. :) So why do it? Because this is the first song that we ever wrote together, as a band, in a style that we use to this day, of playing together and figuring it all out. This might not be our best song, or even a great song, but it lead to everything that came after, and for that, for inspiring the last five years of music that we have created, it seems a shame to not let you hear it. I love this song. Always have, and always will. It holds a special to me.
Lyrics
"Pass the poison", she says under her breath She's high on ecstasy, looking close to death The smile she forces looks just like what it is No thought of tommorow just a bottomed out kiss And her door is locked from the inside These four walls is the one place she can hide The cuts begin to heal but the aftermath is eternal Wrapped in gauze till she feels sterile Chorus: I once heard you say you wanted to fly from here Well the clouds are now gone and the sky is clear Once upon a time I only wanted to save you But now that you're gone, I can't near(you) The blackest days melt into rainy nights She feels as cold as the dead street lights A few years ago everything felt just right But now she feels like a statistic played out and trite And in front of her friends she memorized the fascade But they can all tell that she's a fraud And if there's no consequnece can you justify the action All the pain and hurt lead her to no satisfaction CHORUS
