Gary Wade is a singer/songwriter and producer that has been climbing his way into the music industry with his catchy melodies and moving lyrics. Gary started out his early years in Bexar county San Antonio, Texas with his mom being a piano player and singer and his dad being a guitar player Gary experienced the power of music at a very young age. Having parents that were musically talented gave him the encouragement and guidance that he needed to assist him in pursuing his dream of becoming a highly recognized music figure. The following years were nothing more than singing with an air guitar in front of a mirror and the occasional spotlight on the church floor, but Gary would soon embark on a new lovesongwriting. Writing his first song at 6 years old on a small Casio keyboard; you would think it would be written with kid lingo; but Gary had the ability to write about mature topics and create catchy melodies at such an immature age. As time went by and the young grow up, Gary still continued to write and strengthen his vocals, singing at the occasional festival and karaoke venue. But the move that would change the course of his destiny was moving to Fort Worth, Texas. In which time he performed on the channel 5 morning news show, appeared on various local radio stations, and recorded with top Nashville studio players producing his first hit album “Who I Wanted To Be”. This sampler album encompasses the best of Gary’s songwriting abilities, along with catchy hooks and deep lyrics. He has created a sound all of his own with influences like Kenny Chesney, Mark Wills, Def Leppard and Scorpions which created a country sound with a slice of rock. Gary is currently working on a full album that is an extension of “Who I Wanted To Be” that is planned to be released in 2010. Gary plans to make a great impact on the music industry in all genres and will find a permanent mark in music history.
