Story behind the song
This is a very old song, written probably back in 1981. I never took it as far as a fully-realized recording until now. With the Sting-like bass and Stewart Copeland-esque drums, there's clearly a Police influence on this song.
Lyrics
What do you think you know about love? It's not something that you learn about in school You treat it gently, unlike a bit of grub And you live a life such as all those mortal fools (Chorus) What do you know about love? You better find out now Before it is too late.... or leave it alone (Leave it alone, leave it alone) What do you think you know about life, Besides the fact that it's such a big joke We all hope that there will never be a time, When all the world goes up in smoke (Chorus) (Instrumental) What do you think you know about love? What do you think you know about life? Whoa oh oh, whoa oh oh, whoa oh oh... Copyright 2004, Rick Torres
