Story behind the song
This song focuses on the differences between people and how we deal with struggle.
Even though we all encounter and deal with problems differently, we can all relate to dealing with struggle in the first place. I wanted to write a song that focuses on the differences in how each person deals with struggle, "not everybody is the same" is sort of a plea to get people to recognize what makes each of us different... that's the only way we'll ever learn to work and help one another.
