Story behind the song
A Fairly simple instrumental I wrote for my then unborn son Andrew David Brown. I have always been fascinated by echo and this really just started out as an experiment with a new Roland 8 second digital delay I had bought. Though there are no actual ..."chords" being played on the guitar until the very end with the busy drum part. It sounds as though there is, but its really just several layers of one guitar playing a single note line looping through the echo over and over and over. Getting the echo to sync with the drum machine was a nightmare, but I did it. Also Bird noise at the end done on guitar. And yes you hear Sleigh bells. Interesting fact: Andrew was named after Guitar Players Andy Summers from the police, and Either David Gilmour from Pink Floyd or David Pack from Ambrosia, both incredible guitar players. Oh yeah, to this day NO ONE calls Andrew "Andy".
