I like odd rhythms. If you can dance to my favourite pieces, the chances are that you have a prime number of walking appendages. Check out my , including scores and MP3 files. Read about my . "Engagement" is one of my pieces which uses my new notation. The beat structure is most often five bunches of five sixteenths followed by a bunch of three sixteenth notes.

Story behind the song
Many years ago I was commissioned to write some background music for television filler - you know, the stuff that you see late at night on some obscure cable channel that's run out of both content AND commercials - featuring a selection of Western Canadian waterfalls. I created a simple version of this piece to accompany videos of Takakkaw Falls, in Yoho National Park. This is an expanded version, orchestrated for my daughter's school's senior orchestra.
