Hi Jiri,
Long time since my last visit to SC, and have seen your message. So I am a bit late. Sorry.
With respect to the composition I have to say ¡¡¡ Nice, very Nice !!! Has power, beauty and brilliant form in the exposition. At first listen I was "shocked" then I realized that is a Bizet pieze, one of the better melodist ever.
With respect to the performance, I think that could be better to make honour to the composition but you have not the EMI or DG resources, so also my congratulations for the effrot to bring us a recording that lets us share this great moments with more than acceptable quality.

I am used to hearing this composition with full choral arrangement.
This is the first time I've heard Angus Dei performed with only solo vocal, VERY nice performance!
