Story behind the song
this was the first song I successfully recorded with my Macintosh in 2001, just as a nice blues instrumental but with bits and pieces in styling to May and Beck (see if you can pick them out). The original backing tracks were pretty cheesily done, so last year I re-did them in Cubase using much better sounds. The lead guitars, BTW, were done with a SansAmp Classic, this little box of transistors that nonetheless did an incredible simulation of a nice warm tube amp....
