Story behind the song
Robin had a song idea she brought to Joe Dunmore Big Papa see if you like this Joe she said it's very good but Robin I like to put a Grooving Guitar in it like my cousin's The Isley Bros of Ron, Marvin & Erine Isley so Robin left the studio that nite at the end of her recording session. Also after working with Cory Isley the son of The Late Marvin Isley in the studio on some his materials. But I stay with my guitar player Terry Richmond and Richard Goldsby I had a idea. I ask Terry Richmond to give me some licks like Eric Clapton, BB King, and Erine Isley. He proceed to do as I was telling him in the process of where to lay the guitar pads and solo in the song. It was great in a old school feeling but a new concept of R&B with one verse and a long rip of Guitar solo to end with Robin pading the 2nd verse of the track. We felt this as a winning combination of great real R&B music.
