Story behind the song
Original (from UFO's Obsession) is basically an excuse for a great guitar solo. So, I decide to do a version without any guitar. All "guitar" is my Ion and FX. Marco on Drums, Jeff (me) on everything else. Mario was not allowed to play guitar and he comments that "the feedback is only ok, and those licks are really hard on guitar, but they are easy on keyboard - you need to back off some to make it true". Of course, its hard for a guitar player to be objective under these particular circumstances...
Lyrics
One more for the Rodeo, an old-school [60's] rock'n team A great new wide awakening [spews] spills out at the seams Laid out cold on the table, a sheet pulled over his head I [turned around] looked down to the janitor, asked him 'just how long you'd been dead??' And it's one more for the Rodeo, one more for the show One more pretender who just had to go [All these] Someone's gods and gurus [blow in] crawled in from the east [So] Once caught up in [your] their principles, it eats your mind like a disease I wish I was invisible, hidden from the crowd [And]When this cold wind blows down the sidewalk and leaves me wondering how And it's one more for the Rodeo, one more for the show One more pretender who just had to go ---instrumental--- One more for the rodeo, one more for the show, one more pretender, who just had to go ---instrumental where Jeff goes wild---
