Story behind the song
This is the original Obama tune, the chord progression starting fom A minor. The chords progression is simple but very effective and elegant. It amazes me that something simple as this can be so effective. This is the 'less is more' coming true:)
Also note that once the chord progrssion is in motion there is no other way than this way, also a remarkable fact.
That is also why i like music, if done properly it kind of 'plays itself'. If i hit upon a 'tune' that is an amazing thing, a WOW moment. After that it is just polishing.
A good tune will remain pleasant even after extensive polishing and multiple playings. It becomes classic. Without be arrogant (why should i, the tune was 'given' to me by inspiration) i instantly knew that this Obama chord progression was classic.
Obama, the title? Well i had to attach a title to the tune. At that time Obama just became president of the USA, a good fit (see also the YouTube video of this tune)
