Story behind the song

I so rarely do a cover song...mostly because either you choose a song that nobody's heard and hope you do better or you take a song that's well known and hope you don't slaughter it. In this case I chose XTC's masterpiece in hopes that at minimum I made it my own and everyone will forgive me. Many liberties were taken with key, tempo and arrangement, so lashings of apologies to the purists out there.
