Story behind the song
I was asked to print cards with this saying on it, and decided to take it a little further.
Lyrics
I am ashes to ashes Abel bleeding on the ground I am broken and withered Words without a sound You lift me up and break the chains that bound Oh God, you're great! The saviour of the world, every knee will bow! I am emptiness Even though I'm born for love Send your spirit on me, Lord Send it like a dove You bring me life like the angels up above Oh God, you're great! The saviour of the world, every knee will bow! We are lost, Lord Sheep without a shepherd Heal us clean, Lord As you do the blind and lepers Give us your bread, the body Wine, the blood Oh God, you're great! The saviour of the world, every knee will bow! I am ashes to ashes Abel bleeding on the ground I am broken and withered Words without a sound You lift me up and break the chains that bound

Very moving in its simplicity (meaning uncluttered) and content!
