The Fenix (Firebird) is dancing with other Mythical Figures while his time has come to another End. He is going to colapse into fire while the Dance keeps on marching. but aware of that, he retires the dance, very disapointed waiting for the Transfiguration to come.
The main theme is exposed twice: First at 0:17 in the introduction by the bright Trumpets and Bones in "C / A minor", and replied later in the more obscure tone of the Conclusion in "A flat / F minor" at 5:11, now played by the sad timbre of the French Horns Solo.
The symetric Start and Conclusion shows two related terms such as Death and Life are in the Fenix legend where Life is just a short march in the between that separates every Rise and Fall of the Fenix.
The second theme is the Dancing March, at 1:30, that comes into a final climax at 3:43 but after its resolution, the cadence breaks into the almost chaotic and tragic Transfiguration, giving place to the obscure conclusion with dark tones and timbres of the A theme reexposition.
With this piece I want to tribute "Big Igor" for opening the door to "Contemporary Neoclasical Music" as oposed to "Serial Music" school. Thanks for his talent and big heart.
Very suggestive music, Luis, has a great spirit!! Jiri
