Story behind the song
This song was birthed in my late night quiet time with the Lord. Outside and alone as usual I was pondering the madness of our world. Reminded of Psalm 2 a chorus began to rise, and a few short hours later came forth this song....

"God of Heaven (Psalm 2)" by Chad Wagoner 2009 (verse 1) Why do nations conspire against You Lord And Your Anointed One Saying let us break our chains and be gone all in the name of freedom Lord You just laugh and rebuke in anger You've set Your King on Your Holy mountain I will proclaim Your decree oh Lord You call me son, my Father (chorus) God of Heaven hear my praise Ia019ll not stand silent while the nations rage Hands lifted high to You I raise An anthem of Love unto the God of Heaven God of Heaven God of Heaven (bridge) All glory to the One Who sits upon the Throne We magnify the God of Heaven All praise and majesty Adulation unrestrained Be Yours forever the God of Heaven (verse 2) Ask of me and Ia019ll give you nations The ends of earth as your possession Rule them and be wise as kings Serve the Lord and rejoice with trembling Kiss the Son, Lest His Anger rise Blessed in Him whose refuge find We will proclaim Your decree oh Lord You call us sons and daughters (Chorus 2) God of Heaven hear our praise Wea019ll not stand silent while the nations rage Hands lifted high to You we raise An anthem of Love unto the God of Heavena026
