Q: Where did you grow up? A: New Jersey Q: What made you realize that music was your path? A: The devil made me do it... Q: How would you describe the music that you typically create? A: Commentaries on human nature Q: Who are your biggest musical influences? A: Oscar Brown Jr, Steely Dan, and the guy leading the elephant parade with his clarinet Q: What makes your music unique? A: who said it's unique? Q: Has there been one particular moment in your musical career that you're most proud of? A: Trapped by an unexpected blizzard in at a grand opening in Sagniaw Michigin, me and my band mates played a non stop 1 hour improvisation which may well have been the best music jam I've ever been part of. When I approached owners seeking praise, one guy looked at the other guy, turned to me and said " that was the worst piece of shit I've ever heard." Q: What's next for you? A: I don't know, but I'll let you know when it happens!

Story behind the song
There are guys who pursue in earnest and with a reasonable chance for some sort of positive result. And then there are guys who simply believe that they have discovered the one and only. It is a nasty confluence of pride,  poor judgement, and foolish expectations. These guys pay the price.
Lyrics
VERSE 1 You might argue and compromise, speculate and hypothesize to account for the actions and dissatisfactions Speak too soon, understand to late, move to quickly then hesitate As far as anyone can see, it could hardly been meant to be CHORUS First round took him down, man he made an awful sound, the sound of a heart broken to stay Yeah she kind of shook it, the bait he quickly took it, No! Good sense didn't have a thing to say Knocked down, turned around, buried in the lost and found, agenda, schedule gone to disarray You could say she took him, certainly she shook him. No! Good sense never had a thing to say VERSE 2 You could almost see him singing, almost hear the church bells ringing Drifting lost in pleasing sounds, filled with wonder and thoughts profound No nerves of steel nor precision dealer, no sherman tank nor fast 10 wheeler Smoke and fire large beams splinter, crashed and burned a real tail spinner CHORUS (repeats) . (INSTRUMENTAL 16 measures) BRIDGE Lost to her big brown eyes, he quickly proposed a compromise, eternal bliss now here to stay Lost to her soothing sigh, soothing caress and oh my oh my No entry test nor required reading, broken heart never out of season VERSE 3 Wounded roaring, anguished pain, real enough now but where's the gain He, like so many, gladly addicted, choose and pursue hell, self inflicted Nothing ventured, nothing gained, be smart seek shelter when it rains Position safely to the leeward, good sense suggests good sense be heeded CHORUS (repeats)
