progressive pop jazz blues country christian contemporary melody celtic orchestral bible sax musette
Many genres, Contemporary Christian, Lyrics, instrumentals
I write my own songs ;) I have a very diverse taste in music, from Pop to Classical, including Rock, Folk, Jazz, Country, World Music (Celtic, Romanian), Old Timey Stringband/Bluegrass, and Latin. All these styles are in my Christian Contemporary catagory. I usually write the music first, and then put words to the music. Though I don't sing good enough yet, I though I would put my instrumentals out along with my music. Generally, I think my music/lyrics are getting better, being more skilled now than when I started.

Story behind the song
I had recently composed the melody but without any theme or words. I, then, got a telephone solicitor's call about being in a health care focus group. One question was asked: If you had an hour to speak with anyone living or dead, who would that be? So, I thought about it and then said, "Jesus". She asked why did I picked him. I said, "Because there's so much to know".
Lyrics
So Much In creation, I see Your mighty hand In salvation, I see Your loving plan Oh, Your works are such mystery, but I know But I know I want to know You oh so much Chorus: There's so much I want to know about You But it never seems enough And someday, I want to look on Your face I want to know You oh so much! In the scriptures, I hear the words You say I see pictures of love that You display I may study theology, yet I need Yet I need, Lord, is to know You oh so much (chorus) With Your faithful, I see Your love within I am grateful You started where I've been Then, I ask You, 'How can it be?', and that's why And that's why I want to know You oh so much (chorus) David Davis copyright 2009
