Story behind the song
I came up with the main ideas for this song while fooling around with my bass, so I decided to record them just so I wouldn't forget, using a simple drum loop for percussion. I also added a bit of guitar that same day. Several months later I wrote the lyrics and recorded the vocals. I never got around to re-recording any instruments, the guitar and bass are the original scratch tracks from all those months ago. Lastly, I found/recorded some cool sound samples, threw in some variation in the drum loops, and mixed the tune.
