Lyrics
Eyes lowered to the pavement While my mind drums out the pace I don't know where I'm going to And I really don't seem to care With shoulders low and eyes aglow Some stranger bumps into me As I look back to visually attack My latest enemy All the dreamers have been stoned Should have just left well enough alone As you re-trace the road to your regret Do forgive but don't forget Eyes cast on the horizon Where decisions and destiny meet Trying to shake the feeling That it's all in someone else's hands The ecstacy awaiting me Can't evade me for too long Trying to carve a future That's been mapped out all along All the dreamers have been stoned Should have just left well enough alone Concentration seems so hard to find When you don't have peace of mind
