An esoteric mellow piece with no real defining message, just beautiful chords and progressions set to poetic lyrics of a vague philosophical nature.

MOTIVATIONAL SINGER/SONGWRITER
Hello to my audience! I'm so grateful for you. I really hope you enjoy this music and I'm working hard to keep making more. I'm ready to take my music to a new level and am starting to shop myself to record labels who I hope can help me become all I'm destined to be. I pray with all my heart that a record company with good connections to radio, great producers and touring will give me the opportunity to prove myself, both in the studio, on stage and in songwriting. That is my dream. I don't care about money, just the chance to make great music , build an audience and forge friendships with great people who are serious about music. My main genres are Folk/Folk Rock, Country Rock/Blues and Christian Rock. Thank you for checking me out!!

Story behind the song
I remember riding my bike down the bike path on my way home from work years ago while living in the DC area. Looking up I noticed the moon behind some clouds and the first line of the song popped into my head. Part 2, Nothing Comes for Free, was a separate song that I united with the 1st for the new CD to flesh it out and make it longer, and the 2 go well together.
Lyrics
There's the Moon I. There's the moon up in the sky half concealed by clouds Maybe it will rain tonight. I'd love to see it try. The fireflies play us their song with short breaths of light Like flickering stars dancing in the night, a flash and then they're gone Are we but merely a flash a flash in the depths of time Everything we do is it real or not? What's real is only in our minds. II. Nothing comes for free When you're living for tomorrow You waste you're time but there's no way you can know where you're at We sit and wait for tomorrow When all we really want to do Is be free and live our lives for today Now the story begins Or is it already ending Have we come so far and only just begun So celebrate the morning For it may be last Forget about your worries, it's all in the past
