Story behind the song

Not long before he died, my father-in-law suggested that I write a song about our town.  It took awhile, but I finally came up with a melody and lyrics that I liked and, I'm sure, that he would have liked.

	Is a little town I love,
	High above the waters
	On the towring cliffs above.
	Its steeped in local history,
	In beauty it abounds,
	The sunsets are world famous,
	It mellows with summers sounds.

Canadas prettiest town
Like a beautiful woman
In Ontarios bridal gown.

2.	Far beneath the Huron waters
	There is salt that men do mine.

	The wondrous sunsets shine.
