Story behind the song
This was recorded in a small studio apartment, in Cambridge Mass... in one night, with a little help from some Newcastles, and my friend from Berkeley School of Music Paduan...on the beat. He re-laid/punched the baseline live after the vocals were recorded. It has a nice underground, smoky, and unplugged feel too it. I later re-mixed the track you hear today at my home studio in Boston with Pro-Tools. I tried to keep it as authentic to the original raw sound as possible, while cleaning it up just a tad. Some songs are just better that way. Enjoy. Thanks to Sean, aka Paduan. And to the girl who inspired the lyrics- I always knew you made me crazy for a reason.
