Band implies that there's more than just one of me. But for the mercy of God Himself, you've been spared, and rest assured, there's is only me lol! The Mocha Hurricane, or Ms.Mocha, or better yet, just plain ole Mocha. I'm an amateur singer and songwriter that's only newly discovered the creative freeing qualities that music making software and an internet connection can supply. To be quite simple - THIS - IS - AWESOME! I originally came here to just hang out, play around and see what this was all about and now it seems, I've caught the music bug and have systematically set to work at giving the music world a bit of an explore, and also a few contributions. So far, I'm diggin it. I've been singing since I was little, but sort of fell off the 'singer' wagon. I would have better bet that I was the type that likes to be in the spotlight, but that's apparently not necessarily true. It seems I'm rather shy. (Who knew!) But, I'm getting over it, and now you get to be here for the 'grand reopening'!

Story behind the song
Pretty much self explanatory. When it's over, it's over, and people break up for reasons. But it never fails, either you, or the one you're not with anymore, has something to blame it on. The lyrics of this song address that situation.
Lyrics
Mmmmmm, you can blame it on You can blame it on the sun or the moon or fate You can blame it on how we can't communicate You can blame it on the way that you ruined our trust You can blame it on how we argued, fought and fussed You can blame it on the hours you spent at work You can blame it on the fact that I left you first You can blame it on You can blame it on You can blame it on me, because I know that you're hurt. Don't call me Spare me all the apologies If I gave an inch you took fifty feet The very next breath you're cussin' me! We've tried to work it out At each attempt we both scream and shout I was hurtin' you You were hurtin me I think we both agree That's not how it should be I've never loved someone As deeply as I had love for you Initially you were a dream come true Sure that our love would get us through Gave me no pleasure Leavin' what I treasured And it cut like a knife for me to know I had to move on and totally let ya go. You can blame it on the sun or the moon or fate You can blame it on how we can't communicate You can blame it on the way that you ruined our trust You can blame it on how we argued, fought and fussed You can blame it on the hours you spent at work You can blame it on the fact that I left you first You can blame it on You can blame it on You can blame it on me, because I know that you're hurt. You can blame it on the time that we didn't spend You can blame it on the things that I heard from friends You can blame it on me, because you think that you're right You can blame it on me, because you just wanna fight! You can blame it on the way we don't get along You can blame it on the things that we handled wrong You can blame it on You can blame it on You can blame it on me, if it'll help you move on I'm over it By now, you should be done with it too I heard it from a few friends we knew You got a new chic moved in with you I wonder if she knows You leave me voicemails when she's not home Tellin' me we should take a trip Try to fix our relationship Don't know what you don't get I meant it when I called it quits I remember, you told me, 'That's fine, just leave.' Said there's hundreds of females better than me And now you want me back You say your life's off track You wanna try again But I can't let you in You can blame it on anything now that I'm gone You can blame it on the sun or the moon or fate You can blame it on how we can't communicate You can blame it on the way that you ruined our trust You can blame it on how we argued, fought and fussed You can blame it on the hours you spent at work You can blame it on the fact that I left you first You can blame it on You can blame it on You can blame it on me, because I know that you're hurt. You can blame it on the time that we didn't spend You can blame it on the things that I heard from friends You can blame it on me, because you think that you're right You can blame it on me, because you just wanna fight! You can blame it on the way we don't get along You can blame it on the things that we handled wrong You can blame it on You can blame it on You can blame it on me, if it'll help you move on You can blame it on (You can blame it on) You can blame it on (You can blame it on) You can blame it on (You can blame it on) You can blame it on (You can blame it on) You can blame it on the sun or the moon or fate You can blame it on how we can't communicate You can blame it on the way that you ruined our trust You can blame it on how we argued, fought and fussed You can blame it on the hours you spent at work You can blame it on the fact that I left you first You can blame it on You can blame it on You can blame it on me, because I know that you're hurt.
