No claims of being a performer. I just give it what little I've taught myself musically by songwriting. Recorded by mic, straight to computer as sound on sound.
Born at an early age, I was just a kid at the time....from there memory escapes me, until 2000 or 2001 when I decided to teach myself guitar. In order to teach myself guitar, I took to writing songs. From there, I added bass and occasionally, harmonica and a small touch of electric guitar. Not much of a performer, but I love to experiment writing songs. So, it's nine or ten years into it so far....and I've only scratched the surface with tons to learn. Maybe, you'll find something you like on the nearly three pages, I've loaded so far....Comments are welcome, I don't expect all comments to be favorable, but objectively constructive. I make no claims of being a performer....I just give it my best with what little that I've taught myself both musically and in songwriting. All songs are either written, played and sang by myself or my attempt at covering a song by my favorite artists.

Lyrics
Man in the Moon Thursday, November 10, 2005 Wade Farlowe D Em This song, I wrote on my guitar one day A D I think it was in the month of June D Em So, I tried to get it published some way A D But it's like talking to the man in the moon D Em He said, I like it when the piano comes in A D It's really got a good tune D Em I said, but there is no piano, friend A D It's like singing to the man in the moon C alternating C sus4 Well, there you are, brighter than a glowing star G A2 Old pale moon, shinin' down for all to see C alternating C sus4 It's a simple song, you can all sing along G A7 Mister Moon, won't you just answer me D Em So then, I played it to my favorite girl A D Hoping, to remember the tune D Em She seemed to react, as the words unfurled A D But it's like singing to the man in the moon D Em She said, I think I've heard that one before A D Someone played it on spoons D Em No, this one's new, let me play it once more A D It's like singing to the man in the moon C alternating C sus4 Well, there you are, brighter than a glowing star G A2 Old pale moon, shinin' down for all to see C alternating C sus4 It's a simple song, you can all sing along G A7 Mister Moon, won't you just answer me D Em So, I went down to the county fair A D And let my microphone boom D Em No one seemed to understand me there A D It's like singing to the man in the moon Break D Em A D Em A D C alternating C sus4 Well, there you are, brighter than a glowing star G A2 Old pale moon, shinin' down for all to see C alternating C sus4 It's a simple song, you can all sing along G A7 Mister Moon, won't you just answer me D Em Well, now that I've sung my song for you A D And now you know the simple tune D Em You can sing it, when you have nothing else to do A D It's like singing to the man in the moon D Em A D

This is priceless! What a hoot! Yes this is so real isnt it.? You are definitely a lyric/idea man. This is very impressive again. I think you are a songwriters writer. Your songs are so well thought out. Mine are more like I have this tune what stupid thing can I say. LOL! Nice work.

"Man In The Moon" We can relate to this beauty like nobodys business!!!!!!!!!! This is a song we wished we had written. Getting a song published is like talking to the man in the moon , everyone knows that moon man can't hear you! And the publisher can't take the time of day to actually listen. This song conveys the frustration of being heard & having your song taken seriously. Some people pretend to listen, and in their own words prove... they were not! The song is done with a wonderful sence of humor...where the girl exclaimed ,she had heard the tune played on spoons was funny. The play on microphone boom, worked so well. And as far as singing along with this tune, Candace and I do every time we play it. And we play it often. We have enjoyed this classic treasure for as long as we have known about your music. Each and every listen has been as fresh and enjoyable as the first time we fell in love with it! That's the mark of a great songwriter. We would also a
