I wrote this song after I broke up with my first fiance' back in 1985. I've recorded this about ten times in various forms. This one actually started life on a 4-track cassette recorder. I added the guitar solos about 2000 and put the vocals on in 2006. I simply love the end guitar solo. A Telecaster was the perfect choice (I usually use a Stratocaster for my solos). So to my ex-fiance', this one is for you.
