Story behind the song
I wrote the music for another song I was working on. That didn't work out so I sent the music to Len and he wrote these very descriptive lyrics.
Lyrics
Julia Julia's lying in her lover's arms Summer breeze, shaded trees, all fall for her charms Songbirds singing, high in the leaves Sing so free, my heart's release, Julia and me. Who can be so jealously in love with Julia She bids the breeze, bends the trees to shade her eyes Next to me, lying so gracefully Summer days, lying down with Julia Cotton candy float high above our eyes A tissue moon afternoon under white lace skies Watch her sleeping, time fades too soon Swallow swoon through the blue singing lovesick tunes Who can be so jealously in love with Julia She bids the breeze, bends the trees to shade her eyes Next to me, lying so gracefully Summer days, lying down with Julia.
