Story behind the song
an elegy of sound for volcanos awake and the (e) that tried to be a part of what wasn't meant to be... a wall of comforting sound and side sneaked smokes at the grog shop on some date i can't remember... but the feelings and memories from the experience left deep unfillable grooves imprinted on my soul... inspiration turned itself into sharpie scrolled lyrics on a piece of paper towel... which separated this one from the other bic ink on toilet paper writings that cluttered the inside pockets of my wallet from times of hiding in the factory stalls just to let myself out... ...it's always nice to have something to remember... i just wish i could get over this allergy to good memories. later. -drk

lately i find myself thinking 'bout how i've been wastin' the weekends but it never made sense before 'cause every day i worked i was off now i find it harder still to make the time to change a rhyme to constructive resolutions now that the smoke has cleared the room can you tell me was there something to remember? was there something to remember?
