My band is me! I have recieved some help along the way. Thanks to Bayley Irene, Dolly Hallenbeck, Bill Walsh, and THE NOYZ BOYZ from Illinois. They are a KILLER R&R band in the Elgin area. Greg Wendorf, Joel Schmidt, and Paul Knuth. Nobody plays it like them.....except "THE EDISONS". Tampa Bays absolute best R&R band. Check out The Edisons.com and say hi to Al, Nick(retired), Donni, Roger, and Tom. And when you visit The Edisons site be sure to listen to Nick sing "Dangerous Girl"! Jay Dyall is another killer composer. Listen to Jay when you have a minute or 60! River of Life WAS an unfinished collaboration started in 1971 ( ish ). The lyrics were started By Dolly Hallenbeck and the music by myself. So 38 years later we are going to finish it. Bill Walsh added some great guitar work. Dolly and Bill both have sites on SClick. The version on Dolly's site ( My Name or Fancyfingers2) is the final remix-I hope!

Story behind the song
90% af all the radio ststions in the country play 6 songs. They vary from area to area. for instance, in North Dakota, they probably do not play sweet home aBalama as often as they do in, well aBalama. And in Maine they probably do not play "California Girls" as often. Just google "the most overplayed rock songs" and you will see that every market has "THE SAME SIX SONGS"! Example, in Tampa on a well boned station on the weekends you will hear Pink Floyd every 45 minutes. I love Floyd but my Floyd cd's have an inch of dust on them because they are on the radio all the time. Same station will play Sweet Home aBalama soon and then Free Bird-----followed by Pink Floyd. Turn off your radios and look for different music. Sound Click has thousands of great songs. If you like Christian music, search for "MY NAME" or "THE HAITE PROJECT" or "GODS GIRL 7"! Just seek and you will find----------out that there is music out there. What if the radio GODS decided that the Beatles first few songs were not worth playing? ( It almost happened that way ).
