This deeply sad acoustic ballad reminds us that the worst domestic discord is always based on resistance to changing habits. A collab with fine musicians Alex Kriukov (/alexkriukov) and Lana J. Albert (/lanajalbert)

Story behind the song
Alex composed the acoustic guitar track as a solo, with the title Deja Vu. He offered it to me, to author a lyric and melody. As I was developing it, I heard a potential for the gorgeous piano/orchestral arrangement abilities of one Lana J. Albert, who did this sonic adventure quite a bit of justice!
Lyrics
We retreat to our corners No satisfaction gained Blaming ourselves and each other For this crushing tidal wave of pain But haven't we been through this before? Lessons we've learned, later to ignore? Haven't we been through this before? Claiming to change, then coming back for more Haven't we been here? I've got this regrettable talent For finding that one little thing to say To get you to break down in crying Still your sobs defeat me everyday But haven't we been through this before? Haven't we been here?
