An acousta-vibe/hip-hop special with a little language and an herbal remedy reference, but a really good message. It's time for musicians to start truly supporting one another.

Story behind the song
Lexie came over one day with a poem about this subject which had the last word in every line ending "ation". I liked the format and the premise that we need to quit dickin around as musicians and collaborate more. With Lexi's blessing I rewrote the lines of her poem to match the music I already had. Kay (my sweetie) helped with a few exceptionally good word substitutions which made the final cut. I think Lexie did a killer job singing this!! It should be known that Lexie asked me not to include this track on my album because she is abstinent from drugs and alcohol and she feels that the song represents views which are contrary to her personal beliefs. She has agreed to let me release it on my next album with a different vocalist. So be on the lookout for the new version of this track sometime in early 2010. This track is available for FREE download!
Lyrics
I wont back down from intimidation Ill tune the words like a radio station Nothins gonna get lost in translation while Im breakin down the barriers of inferior communication But ego feeds that procrastination while my brothers and sisters find justification For shunnin every possible collaboration needin validation to get past their trepidation Ooooh is it really so difficult for every single one of us to take a gulp o humble pie? Ooooh lets all be magnanimous and smoke a little cannabis and everybody find the sky We ll align the signs of musician-kind Time to get out of your own mind Put your pride away for another day Sit down and f***in play Oops what? We all get together then SNAP! We go sign the contract Oops what? We all get together then SNAP! We go sign the contract RAP BREAK: Snap back, give a heart attack, whats the beef? Lets collaborate a track, kick some rhymes while were stabbin at a sack of green Oh yes indeed it be me the King of these streets on top of this rap game Itd be a damn shame, everyone needs to get together, spit some damn flames Makin musical motion, flowin like the ocean But water is harder if you dont catch this notion Oops what? We all get together then SNAP! We go sign the contract Oops what? We all get together then SNAP! We go sign the contract Its not like we lack imagination Whats with the slimy scene of fabrication? Im gonna steer clear of the temptation for engagin and a-ragin in mental masturbation Allow me to make a minor qualification Cuz Im not prone to hallucination All the isolation nourishes frustration which will only lead to everybodys total indignation Ooooh is it really so difficult for every single one of us to take a gulp o humble pie? Ooooh lets all be magnanimous and smoke a little cannabis and everybody find the sky We ll align the signs of musician-kind Time to get out of your own mind Put your pride away for another day Sit down and f***in play Oops what? We all get together then SNAP! We go sign the contract Oops what? We all get together then SNAP! We go sign the contract
