Story behind the song
The Overture begins with one of the last attacks at the end of Second World War and tries to depict a fears fight of armies. You can hear bombs falling, machine guns, than single shots, ambulance siren and finally music slowly subsides to calmer and slower passages. The second half of Russian anthem is beginning the part of the overture then a musical glimpse of the evil which is awaiting and than finale crescendo of the overture.
