Story behind the song
This song was written for those people who have a crush on someone, but could never get their attention. The song first started out as a love song, but then reality stepped in and the feelings weren't the same, they weren't shared. After long hours of frustration the song went through a re-write and took on a more "Where do we stand" type of feeling. This song is about someone who has a relationship but doesn't know how the other person sees it anymore. It describes what it feels like to wonder if a relationship is over or if the people involved are committed to go on. This is an original composition. It is my first song, and sounds a little electronic. Since this was recorded, last year my vocals have become much stronger and we are planning to re-record it, but not until I have more music written. I hope you enjoy the song. Please send comments. There are about ten other songs I am working on now and really want to get a lot better. Your feedback would help me out in a big way. Finally I am really excited about this web site, Soundclick.com, that there is a place where my music can be heard...very COOL!
Lyrics
Sometimes when I'm sitting in my room I here you calling me Your voice is calling me All this noise is crashing in on me And when I go to bed You're just a memory That's what I'm saying There's no sense in playing It's time for a change of heart Trying hard to lay the blame on me I think you play too fast I think you know it's true Bottled up I send an S.O.S We turn around and stay Or turn and walk away I wonder Am I getting through It's so hard To get close to you I'm desperate To keep and believe I can't see What you are to me I think we've gone this way before We don't see eye to eye... And when I dream your always there We can't escape these lies... Trapped inside I want to laugh and cry If we could just let go And think about tomorrow Moving on I won't be looking back A place you've never been And I can't understand I wonder Am I getting through It's so hard To get close to you I'm desperate To keep and believe I can't see What you are to me I think we've gone this way before We don't see eye to eye... And when I dream your always there We can't escape these lies... I wonder Am I getting through It's so hard To get close to you I'm desperate To keep and believe I can't see What you are to me
